A contemporary shape, the Tapered drum was created to add a slightly more classical option when Cylinder drums are too contemporary. The slight taper sits nicely on top of bases and suit designs that a simple and modern in their design. Each lampshade is made with thick 4mm wire to ensure a solid and long-lasting lampshade for years and years. We don’t stock any lampshades, instead we wait for your order and make exactly as you need. This reduces waste and ensures you receive the best possible price. Once we receive your order we begin preparing the work, carefully making your lampshade here in our workshop in Kent, England. Customise the lampshade to fit your interior, choose from a range of carefully selected linens, beautiful linings and a range of fittings to ensure your order fits your lamp. A heritage of lighting craft
Founder Daniel Fosbery’s experience grew from Copper & Silk, the specialist lighting workshop established in 2010. Fosbery Studio carries that knowledge into an accessible collection while retaining the attention to detail and making skills associated with bespoke work.
Craft, engineering and choice
Products are made locally by a multidisciplinary team using a blend of hand skills and modern manufacturing. Customers can combine finishes, timbers and fabrics to shape a piece for an interior, supported by the studio’s design and engineering expertise.
