Product Details
This beautiful design uses the 'Nui' Shibori technique to create a stunning teardrop design. Nui Shibori is created by a simple running stitch along the cloth then pulled tight to gather pleats before submerging in an indigo dye vat. The stitches act as a resist to create the patterns.
These deep indigo tones would add a dramatic effect to any room.
A high quality velvet available by the meter and suitable for light upholstery and curtains.
Made and printed in the UK.

Tatie Lou
Tatie Lou is a British interiors brand founded by printed textile designer Louise Wargnier. Known for intricate patterned wallpapers, fabrics and homewares, the studio brings together shibori, hand-dyeing traditions, botanical detail and contemporary colour.
Each Tatie Lou print begins as original artwork before being developed into colourways and applied across wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, lampshades, blankets and table linens. The result is a joyful, layered collection for interiors with warmth, character and a strong sense of craft.
Inspired by nature, Japanese craft and the decorative richness of India, Tatie Lou creates pieces for homes that feel expressive, artful and full of imagination.
